FedEx Ground Software Updates

This training session is designed to support the FedEx Ground software upgrade effort and to expose the technicians to both the components required for the update as well as the process of upgrading each component. This session will also cover some basic Linux processes and commands that will be useful for the upgrade.

Description

Course Objectives:

  • Understand the FedEx Ground system set up and configuration.
  • Review and practice basic Linux navigation and Linux commands.
  • Identify the components that will be part of the hardware upgrade.
  • Identify the components that will be part of the software upgrade.
  • Complete the software upgrade for each of the system computers.
