MINI Z 140HP Operator Training

MINI Z 140HP Operator training is available as a 1 day or a 2 day course. The 1 day course is designed to provide users with an overview & equipment familiarization. It will include classroom & hands on training, for up to 5 people. The 2 day course consists of 2 day instruction for up to 10 students covering basic X-ray theory and safety, overview of the MINI Z 140HP system, and proper and safe operation of the MINI Z 140HP.

Description

Introduces students to working as system operators on the Mini Z 140HP handheld Z Backscatter screening system, developing the knowledge and skills to provide safe, efficient and effective scanning operations. Students learn to safely operate the Mini Z 140HP, detect anomalies using the embedded image-analysis software, and understand how the Mini Z 140HP fits within a layered security screening scheme. 

Objectives: 

  • Explain the radiation safety procedures used when operating the Mini Z 140HP 

  • Effectively setup and operate the Mini Z 140HP to obtain high-quality x-ray images 

  • Correctly use the x-ray image viewer enhancement tools 

  • Apply basic image interpretation techniques 

  • Demonstrate correct scanning techniques 

  • Carry out good equipment care.
