Aviation Security Manager (ASM) - Recurrent

This Department for Transport (DfT) training course is mandatory for any person who has general responsibility, at national or local level, in ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and legal provisions of a Security programme, and operational compliance. This could include managers employed within an airport, airline, cargo, in-flight supplies, or other aviation stakeholder function.

Description

This recurrent course will ensure Aviation Security Managers understand their role and responsibilities regarding the implementation of a Security Programme, the legal provisions associated, the current threat, and the wider security picture. This course will update their knowledge on key elements of Aviation Security.

Prerequisites

Individuals who wish to join this course must be based in the UK.

This is a course which will be necessary for their job role and will be able to complete a background check declaration.

The individual must have completed an ASM Initial course.
