Car Z Portal Intermediate Training

Z Portal Intermediate Service and Maintenance Training Course designed for 6 students. The course will entail 5 days of classroom and hands on training. Includes LMS license fee per student for access to LMS for 2 years.

Description

Delivers technical training forming a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to ensure Z Portal Cargo and Vehicle Inspection (CVI) systems are supported and operated to a professional standard. Produces Service Level 1 & 2 Engineers who are technically informed and able to support x-ray scanner operations — assisting operational staff, carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining or repairing some subsystems. 

Objectives: 

  • Support the operational team in acquiring high-quality x-ray images 

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the location and function of system components 

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks 

  • Conduct first-level field response on inoperable or fault-indicated cargo systems 

  • Conduct basic system safety checks 

  • Inspect chiller/HVAC systems and verify system parameters 

  • Demonstrate correct record keeping and reporting practices
