CarView Operator Hybrid

CarView Operator - 3 days of hands training for up to 10 students. Classroom/theory instruction will be completed on line via LMS prior to hands on. Includes LMS license fee per student for access to LMS for 2 years.

Description

Introduces students to the CarView Portal vehicle screening system and develops the knowledge and skills to become safe, efficient and effective operators. Students learn all operational roles (Image Analyst, System Controller, vehicle marshalling) so they can proficiently scan, acquire high-quality x-ray images, and interpret them to identify contraband and anomalies. 

Objectives: 

  • Explain the concepts and theory of operation of the system 

  • State and follow radiation and general safety rules 

  • Effectively and safely operate the CarView system 

  • Use the software and x-ray image enhancement/viewer tools 

  • Apply x-ray image interpretation techniques 

  • Perform correct record keeping and reporting 

  • Carry out basic troubleshooting and operator-level maintenance
