General Terms and Conditions

  1. Training is subject to Rapiscan Service Terms and Conditions E502 (the "Service Terms"), available at www.rapiscansystems.com/termsandconditions
  2. By accepting this Service Quotation and/or our performance hereunder, the Customer agrees to be bound by the Service Terms.
  3. All proprietary training materials including PowerPoint slides and bespoke exercises used by the Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy during the training program may not be reproduced, re-used, rebranded, or otherwise redistributed in any format by the client without the prior written consent of the Company. Such materials are covered by Rapiscan Systems copyright.
  4. Certification is valid for 12 months. In order to continue certification, and to ensure warranty is valid (if appropriate), recertification training should be performed on an annual basis. This will also support effective operation and maintenance of Rapiscan Systems equipment. Recertification can be delivered via classroom training or eLearning.
  5. Student certification is only valid whilst the students is employed by the customer. If the student changes employer, or employment, the certification will be no longer valid.
  6. Rapiscan Systems require export compliance documentation (OTCF/TCF/VIF) to be completed and returned no later than 14 days before training is scheduled to take place. These forms will be distributed upon receipt of a Purchase Order. Failure to complete these forms 14 days prior to the course taking place will result in the course delivery being delayed.
  7. The Customer may, from time to time, seek to change the nature, scope, date or format of the training program or event. The Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy will endeavour to accommodate reasonable changes to the assignment. In such circumstances an additional fee may be charged for any extra design work or unplanned travel expenses resulting from the changes.
  8. Should the Customer need to cancel, or postpone, the delivery of trainingcancellation fees will apply. A full copy of the Rapiscan Learning Academy Cancellation Policy can be obtained by contacting: LearningAcademy@rapiscansystems.com
  9. This "SALE" is exclusively for the specified number of students . If the customer requires the number of students to be changed, the value will be updated to reflect any changes which may incur additional costs.
  10. Training will take place at the agreed location, as stated in the sale.
  11. If the training is to be conducted at the customer location, the customer shall provide the training system(s) required and an appropriate area for training to be conducted. Training systems must be 100% functional and available throughout the training.
  12. If training is to be conducted at the customer site, the customer is responsible for initial setup, prior to training.
  13. If training is to be conducted at the customer site, Rapiscan Systems must be notified of any requirements and/or restrictions to enter the customer facility to avoid delays and additional costs.
  14. If customer equipment is to be utilized during the training, any damage caused to the machine, by the students, will be the responsibility of the customer.
  15. This quote does not cover student accommodation, expenses, and travel. This should be covered by the Customer.
  16. The Customer will ensure that all students will comply with Health and Safety, and Security, whilst attending training provided by Rapiscan Systems Learning Academy. Students who do not comply with Rapiscan Systems’ policies may be removed from the training course.
  17. All Export License / Radiation restrictions will be adhered to on all occasions.
  18. The training course will be delivered in the English language and all training materials and supporting documentation will be provided in the English language, unless prior agreed with Rapiscan Systems.
  19. This quote does not include any translation services, unless prior agreed with Rapiscan Systems. Translation services must be provided by the Customer and approved by the Learning Academy.
