Advanced Threat Recognition [Image Analysis]
Our flagship five-day course is designed to provide students with the skills required to perform Advanced Threat Recognition, giving them the ability to detect a wider range of threat items through better utilization of the equipment available, whilst becoming more proficient in dealing with threat detection and escalation processes.
Description
The course content includes an Introduction to Threat Recognition, plus advanced theory of radiation, Supervisory level modules such as X-ray testing, start-up and shutdown, Threat Image Projection (if utilized) and X-ray Supervisor responsibilities. There are opportunities to practice Threat Recognition through the use of CBT with increasing difficulties, complexities and combinations of items being used.
This course highly supports operational excellence by training students in a wide and complex range of threats; assessing in both a formative and summative format over the 5 days.
