First Line Manager (Part Two)
Part two of the Learning Academy’s first line manager training provides team leaders and managers with some further techniques for getting the best out of their team members once the performance management basics are in place.
Description
This course provides team leaders and managers with additional skills to support building confidence and develop key leadership and communication skills. The training also introduces practical techniques to help manage change, team conflict and difficult behaviour.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this one-day course, the participants will be able to
- Recognise the characteristics of high performing teams and identified ways to engender effective team working.
- Recognise different styles of communication and how to adapt their communication style to create understanding and rapport with others.
- Identify strategies for helping team members cope with their potential responses to change in the workplace.
- Identify and practised techniques for managing difficult behaviour in the workplace.
Prerequisites
