920CT Basic Maintenance Certification

This certification covers Service Levels 1 and 2 for the 920CT. On successful completion, you will be certified in Preventative Maintenance on behalf of Rapiscan Systems for 12 months.

Description

Level 1 maintenance entails system level pre-checks and completion of basic maintenance items defined in the User Manual as “Daily/Weekly Maintenance Procedures.”

Level 2 may entail the use or Operational Test Kits/Pieces  to verify system performance before/during security screening operations.

Gull wing doors of the 920CT can only be opened at this level with appropriate Export Compliance approval, in line with the US Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

  • E-Stop and Reset
  • Daily Image Quality verification
  • Clean exterior
  • Filter inspection

    • Visual Inspections (Cleanliness, Fault Indicators)

  • Built in Self Tests
  • Check that no lead curtains are torn or missing.
  • Re-boot self-testing routine
  • Perform a Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance (PM)
  • Conveyor Belt Tension and Tracking
  • Static Grounding Brushes – Inspect & Adjust
  • Truck Wheels & Guide Wheels – Inspection & Cleaning
  • Powerlink Inverter – Inspection & Cleaning
